We’re looking for… a cybersecurity professional who is able to work independently and in a team environment to complete projects on time. Our ideal candidate for this position is passionate about information security, advancing their skillsets, and are able to communicate professionally with clients both verbally and through written communication. Our professionals are encouraged to think outside the box and to treat each engagement from the standpoint of a real threat actor.
A Junior Penetration Tester is responsible for performing and delivering fundamental vulnerability assessment and penetration testing engagements. This includes initial discussions with clients, performing the vulnerability assessment and/or penetration tests, reporting, and final outbrief with clients. Our team is consistently growing and career advancement opportunities, including training, are available.
1+ year minimum of penetration testing experience
Ability to deliver a broad range of penetration testing services
Knowledgeable with tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite Pro, Metasploit, Eyewitness, and more
Demonstrated fundamental experience in planning, executing, and managing engagements including techniques described within the MITRE ATT&CK framework
Proficiency in Cloud security including reviewing Cloud configurations and exploiting common Cloud specific security weaknesses
Ability to join in on client-facing engagements, work on projects through to completion, and address clients’ issues
Experienced in providing training and/or mentoring to other team members is a plus
Ability to contribute to improving the areas of the methodologies, tools, and processes used by our team
Carry out research and development work as required to continually advance core knowledge areas and develop niche interests and specialisms
Industry specific technical accreditations such as OSCP, OSWE, OSCE, etc. is a plus
NICE TO HAVE
Demonstrable experience in computer science, information security, and coding or systems administration.
